CoalFusion is a fully automated blending system that optimizes the fuel the customer sends to the power plant. The customer can blend from an unlimited number of coal yard feeders to an unlimited number of boiler blend specifications while minimizing the cost of their fuel. With advanced process control algorithms, CoalFusion increases plant profitability by delivering the right fuel blend at the right time all the time.
CoalFusion seamlessly interfaces with the customer’s existing control system and operator consoles to automatically achieve target coal qualities, product splits and flow rates in the coal handling system. CoalFusion provides an automated blending solution through the use of advanced process control algorithms with a downstream weigh scale and element analyzer.
